Maja is based on the Northern Devon coast, where she teaches regular yoga classes and holds workshops, events and retreats combining her knowledge of yoga, long-standing experience and perusal of psychology, mindfulness, dance, health improvement and more recently herbal healing.

She works for the NHS in health promotion and is a visiting lecturer at Plymouth University contributing to a DClin Psychology programme curriculum on working cross-culturally, based on her work and experience in community development and clinical psychology. True connection with a heart, universal consciousness and celebration of life are the main aspects of Maja’s sessions.

She has practised yoga since a very young age and pursued her passion and love for yoga and Ayurveda healing through numerous retreats as well as an intensive teacher training course whilst on a pilgrimage in India. Maja runs Ayurveda workshops with a focus on using the power of plants and herbs to assist healing. She also makes organic soap and ointments based on Ayurveda healing principles. Currently with over twenty years of training and working in various healing modalities, Maja uses yoga as an embodied healing practice and service.
