Consultant Practitioner and Advisor


Qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1992. Over the last 25years, she has worked within the NHS in hospital, GP practice and community settings. Carolina has taught in Back to Work and Expert patient programmes. She has worked within the Armed Forces and within schools in Pediatric care. She is presently involved in setting up a Stroke rehabilitation group called “Different Strokes” in South Devon.

Her additional skills in health and wellbeing developed with gaining certification in breath work and counselling, and becoming a practitioner of Flower essences in 2003. This developed into writing and speaking about the subject, and she was the research officer of the National association of Essence practitioners in the UK.

She has trained in foundation Steiner education, and as a registered Sunflower practitioner, (a thorough and effective method to help young children with any challenges in their learning, health and behaviour). She is now embarking on the Thrive Approach training as a practitioner.

She is massage therapist through her physiotherapy background and is a fully qualified acupuncture practitioner within the Association of Physiotherapists in Acupuncture, She can provide this safely within a clinic setting to support pain relief, recovery and well-being.

Carolina brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience to Orchid Community&Associates. She can work holistically with other disciplines. She is passionate about poetry and reading, also undertaken the Reader Organisation facilitator training. She loves gardening, trees and plants especially Orchids. She has a gentle, supportive approach with people.

She is a professional consultant in her various fields, especially care and equipment advice with people of all ages especially the elders.
