Consultant Practitioner and Advisor


Carolina qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1992 and over the last 29 years has worked within the NHS in hospital, GP practice and community settings. She has taught in Back to work and Expert patient programmes, worked within palliative care and across child and adult reablement services.  She currently has her own private practise specialising in elder care rehabilitation based in the South Hams.

Carolina also is a case manager for West County case management.

She also provides mentoring as well as life story work for adopted children for the Apricot centre service.

Her additional skills in health and wellbeing developed with gaining certification in breath work and counselling and becoming a practitioner of Flower essences in 2003. This developed into writing and speaking about the subject and being on the committee for the British flower and vibrational essences association for many years. 

She has trained in foundation Steiner education  and as a qualified Sunflower practitioner (a thorough and effective method to help young children with any challenges in their learning, health and behaviour). She qualified as a licensed Thrive practitioner in 2017. 

Carolina is passionate about the power of reading in community and is a trained Read to Lead Facilitator with the Reader organisation. 

She is a very keen avid gardener and has a wonderful orchid collection.
